Required Equipment Standards

  • All machines must have operating front and rear brakes.
  • Headlight, taillight and turn signals must be removed or have there lenses completely covered with tape.
  • Centre and sidestand must be removed.
  • All engine transmission and final drive unit, oil drain plugs, and filler caps must be safety wired, or have a glob of 3m weather strip cement or any other glue that does not allow the bolt or part to come loose while riding.
  • Cooling system must not contain anti-freeze, tip: use distilled water with water wetter added.

Number Plates

Numbers will be assigned based on the Pro, Amateur, or Mini Rider Ranking System. Once a number is assigned, that number will remain assigned to the rider until the expiration date printed on his Competition membership. A rider has until Jan. 1st of the following year to renew his membership and maintain his same competition number.

The number plate background color must contrast with the color of the numbers used. The number plate background and number colour combinations for 2005 are as follows, unless otherwise specified by SMC:

There are to be no stickers on any number plate except for numbers, series sponsor decals, tech inspection stickers, and SMC stickers unless otherwise approved.

  • Must have a suitable number plate surface on the front and both sides of the bike.
  • Motocross or dirt tracks style plates are recommended.

Approved Tires

  • Premier middleweight lightweight and mini are allowed the following tires
    • Class c dirt track tires.
    • Roadrace slicks, cut slicks or rain tires. Any dot tire (ex. Any streetbike or dual sport tires such as Pirelli MT60, Riding Gear.
  • Road race or dirt track leathers are highly recommended.
  • Motocross gear will be allowed but must include kneecups, hippads, elbowpads and a chest/back protector and heavy enduro jacket.
  • Boots must offer full ankle protection.
  • Roadrace, street or suitably protective helmet undamaged full-face road or motocross helmet with face shield or goggles and must be DOT approved.
  • Dunlop Trailtax, Avon Gripster Continental enduro Pro, Bridgestone Trailwing, etc…, knobbies are not allowed under any circumstances.

Fees

  • The entry fees for each race is $50.00 for 1 class plus $25.00 for each additional class you want to run on that day.

Competition Categories

  • Competition machines will be classified according to the Supermoto classes.
  • All machines must conform to the Technical Inspection Requirements.
